Power-Hungry

A game which is about the player choosing how to power a society. This game will entail the players learning about the different ways that power is generated throughout the world (i.e. fossil fuels, nuclear plants…). In this game, the objective is to keep a growing society powered, while maintaining a low carbon footprint to prevent the world from ending from climate change. 

Throughout the game, you will encounter specific scenes should your carbon footprint level increase too much, which is intended to inform players of the effects of climate change. The main mechanism of this emulates a “tycoon” game, which is ‘building a successful industry from scratch’ but with energy and society.
